We have been making our primitive handmade bowl fillers for years, and have found that we keep improving on an already great product.  When we first began the grubby bowl filler line in the 80's our intentions were to try and boost the sales of our wooden bowls in our retail store.  We did not sell many bowls but our bowl fillers were flying out the door.  We found it impossible to keep them made.  The sales of our bowl fillers wer so sucessful we eventually closed our retail store and made only the bowl fillers for stores on a wholesale basis.  Each bowl filler piece is hand cut and hand painted, then is is hand detailed, and hand sealed.  Each piece of our product goes through this process.  Each bag contains between 7-9 pieces.  All of this work is done here at our shop in Lexington, Indiana.  No part of any of our work is imported.  You can rest assured the products  prurched from Mingione's Wholesale is 100% made in the USA.  Today our bowl fillers are not only purchased by  gift shops,   but also by craft distributors, basket makers, potters,lamp makers,curtain makers, doll makers, our bowl fillers are so versatile people have found litterally thousands of uses.  Bowl fillers are smooth on the opposite side so they are easy to glue onto projects.  Bowl fillers are easily drilled, and bowl fillers are even available upon request with button holes.
